Seeking clarification about admissibility of Risk & Hardship Allowance during leave period.
The undersigned is directed to refer to CRPF's UQ No.A.1-1/Instn-Accts-3 dated 06.01.2021, seeking clarification whether Risk & Hardship Allowance would be admissible for the period of leave that stretches beyond 30 days if a person proceeds on leave exceeding 30 days at a stretch.
2. In this connection it is stated that this Ministry, in consultation with IFD, has already clarified vide UO of even number dated 13.09.2019 that "MHA's Order dated 31.07.2017 has no mention of the condition of absence in a calendar month, any leave stretching to more than 30 days would make the personnel ineligible for the allowance". In other words, if a person proceeds on leave of any kind for more than 30 days, he will not be eligible for risk & hardship allowances for the entire period of leave.

उपरोक्त स्पष्टीकरण से यह है मालूम होता है कि यदि कोई कार्मिक 30 दिन से ज्यादा छुट्टी पर जाता है तो छुट्टी की पूरी अवधि का उसे जोखिम और कठिनाई भत्ता नहीं मिलेगा |
चलिए इसको एक उदाहरण से समझते हैं :-
जैसे कोई कार्मिक 36 दिन की छुट्टी गया है तो उसका 36 दिन का ही जोखिम और कठिनाई भत्ता की कटौती की जाती है, यदि कोई कार्मिक 30 दिन की छुट्टी जाता है तो उसका नहीं कटेगा |
